Us ...
We've been making Fine Handcrafted Jewelry since 1990. We
launched our On Line Store Front in October, 1999 making our
designs available to all.
Each piece is hand
crafted with care, using only the finest quality
semiprecious stone beads, incorporating 14kt
Gold Filled*
or Sterling Silver accent beads, clasps and/or earwires into
each design.
14kt Gold is also
available.
Currently
located in Winter Park, Florida, Notables sells designs to a
number of local shops as well as publishing our On
Line Catalog.

Care of Gold Filled
Jewelry
- Care
for it as you would any other fine jewelry. There may be
some 'bending' of the pins in our earrings. This is
natural. Gently bend back in shape if necessary. It is
quite durable.
- Remember,
this is NOT gold plate. It's not unusual to find an old
gold filled pendant that is nearly 75 years
old!
- A
polishing cloth for gold or silver works well to remove
dirt and/or tarnish.
- Do not
use harsh abrasives/cleaners on semi precious stone beads
as they can strip the stones of their natural luster. Use
a mild detergent if necessary and wipe with a soft
polishing cloth.
* About Gold Fill ....
- 14k/20
gold filled wire (or 1/20 Rolled gold wire) is created by
taking a layer of 14kt Gold and bonding it through
extreme heat and pressure to a core of semiprecious metal
(brass). The end result is a 14kt tube which is strong,
durable and resistant to tarnish because of it’s
gold content.
- *14k/20
Rolled Gold creates high fashion jewelry at a fraction of
the cost.
- *There
is 100
times more gold in Gold Fill (or Rolled Gold) than gold
plate.
*14k/20 is
usually used for earrings, pendants, pins, clasps, collars,
bracelets, small rings.
